"There are catwalks that reflect the present, and others that interpret it. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid belongs to the latter category".

From our beginnings, in Malne we understood fashion as a way of narrating. A visual language that is constructed with fabric, with body and with time. A territory where style and sensibility meet without haste, with intention. On this path, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid has been one of the scenarios that has allowed us to show who we are and how we conceive the act of dressing.

The history of MBFWMadrid: from marquee to reference point

The history of recent Spanish fashion cannot be told without talking about this catwalk. Born in 1985 under the name of Designers' Catwalk in a marquee in the Plaza de Colón, and has evolved to become the country's most relevant event for contemporary design. Its alliance with Mercedes-Benz in 2012 consolidated its international identity, without losing the distinctive character that has always defined it: that of being a living platform, open to craftsmanship, experimentation and dialogue between generations of creators.

Organised by IFEMA MADRIDMBFWMadrid brings to each edition established and emerging designers, media, buyers and fashion lovers who value both the technical gesture and the aesthetic intention. But, above all, it offers an environment for creation that keeps alive an industry that, like ours, does not understand haste, but precision.

Malne's look at the MBFWMadrid: haute couture in a contemporary key

Malne at MBFWMadrid

Since we founded Malne in 2015our participation in MBFWMadrid has been more than an appointment: it has been a commitment. A commitment to the craft, to the female silhouette, to the pleasure of building pieces that tell more than just a trend. For us, each fashion show is an opportunity for dialogue with those who feel that fashion is not repetition.

Our atelier - located in Madrid and made up of a team of highly qualified craftsmen - produces each collection responsibly, without surplus stock, without delocalisation, and with the same respect for the female body that inspired us from the first sketch. Each edition in which we have paraded has been another page in this shared history with MBFWMadrid.

Editions of the MBFWMadrid that have marked our trajectory

February 2025 - "Bohemian Future".

In the 81st edition, we present Bohemian Future for the autumn-winter season 2025/2026. Ucollection that united the spirit boho of the 70s with a sophisticated, contemporary language that is decidedly our own. Floating volumes, tweed capes, tunics in chiffonembroidered dresses in microfibre, embroidered dresses paillettes and noble fabrics such as silk chiffon, cashmere or gazar.

It was also our first foray into accessoriesThe fashion show was opened with evening bags designed by the atelier, footwear by Ganzitos and jewellery by Joyas Antiguas Sardinero. The model Jimena Madera was in charge of opening the fashion show, reminding us that couture can also dialogue with new generations.

September 2024 - "Rerum Natura".

Introducing Rerum Natura at the 80th edition of MBFWMadrid. Our spring/summer 2025 collection inspired by Tito Lucretius' vision of the world: serene, sensual, attentive to what is blooming. We think of this proposal as a tribute to nature and leisure timeto calm as a form of elegance. Each piece speaks of the beauty that occurs when the body breathes and moves in freedom.

We work with linen, silk, lace and raffialooking for textures that connect with the skin and the landscape. The silhouettes are soft, enveloping, with references to corsetry that we reinterpreted from the organic. It was a luminous, open collection, faithful to our way of understanding fashion: a gesture that celebrates the natural without renouncing art.

March 2022 - "Splendor".

In March 2022 we presented Splendor, our Autumn Winter 2022-2023 collection. A collection conceived as scenography and transformation exercise. On a rotating platform, we showed looks that evolved live through styling changes made in real time. It was a contained, precise staging, where each design offered a second reading.

We work with a palette of pearl whites, black and silver. Quilted jackets, maxi coats and mini dresses embroidered with pearls composed a narrative of light and structure. Splendor was a manifesto about gesture and presence, and also a statement of our commitment to artisanal couture from the atelier.

Beyond the catwalk: a presence that leaves a mark

Every parade has been an occasion to reaffirming our way of doing fashionWith identity, with purpose, with respect for the process. But also to meet with clients, with colleagues, with the media and with new generations who discover in haute couture a genuine form of expression.

At MBFWMadrid we have shared the stage with names we admire, but always from a place of our own. We don't compete. We converse. And in that conversation we find inspiration to continue creating.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid: fashion with meaning, luxury with memory

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid is more than a catwalk. It is a place of memory, of future, of belonging. For Malne, it has been and will continue to be the stage where we share who we are: a contemporary maison that believes in fashion as a story, as an intimate gesture, as art that dresses itself.

We will continue to show our collections there, with the same fidelity to our values: real sustainability, handmade exclusivity, design with vision and love for couture. Because we don't understand any other way of being in the fashion world than creating with our soul.
