Frida XXI

Frida XXI is Malne's new collection, a contemporary homage to the rebellious and artistic spirit of Frida Kahlo. Juanjo Mánez and Paloma Álvarez reinterpret the iconic strength of the Mexican painter through garments that oscillate between the structured and the organic, the masculine and the hypersensual, creating a visual language charged with symbolism and emotion.

Silk mikado dresses with pictorial prints, cottons and natural linens, together with metallic thread embroidery, mark a palette that goes from pure white with handmade flowers to absolute black, Malne's eternal emblem.

The pieces are enriched with ethereal feathers, watercolour floral motifs and corsets inspired by orthopaedics turned into art by Frida, combined with voluminous skirts and stylised columns. In this collection, each garment is more than fashion: it is a statement, a moving story that dresses women as artists of themselves, with courage, authenticity and unfiltered beauty.
